What other people can see
Explains the difference between the public profile, the details page, and a private watcher link.
What it is. The public profile is a track-record showcase, not a copy of the private dashboard. The owner controls whether money, broker, volume, open positions, insights, rating participation, and the details page are visible. Separately, there is a watcher link for trusted people invited by the owner.
Why it matters. You can show account dynamics and verification without exposing absolute capital, positions, or your working journal. That matters when a profile is public but the strategy, sizing, and notes should stay private.
How it works. When balance hiding is enabled, money is not returned as money: some sections are hidden, while others are shown only as percentages or indexes. Open-position hiding removes the open-position layer and its floating P&L. Public insights and the details page are controlled by separate settings. The journal layer - playbooks, notes, and tags - is never published. Behavioral analytics, including price of habits and rolling blocks, is owner-only. A watcher invite is not public sharing: an invited viewer can see monetary account metrics, so that link should be given only to people trusted with those numbers.
How we compute it
The dashboard masks money, lot, and position fields on the server according to privacy settings. Owner mode does not apply balance hiding; shared mode applies the public-profile settings.
