A trading journal that fills itself

For a trader or investor who wants to understand their trading, not just watch the balance.

When an account is connected, PnL Plus reads data in read-only mode and pulls trades automatically. You do not have to copy every trade into Excel: the journal is built from broker data, while the manual layer is reserved for what the broker cannot know - notes, playbooks and context.

Playbooks help split trades by systems and setups. One playbook is one trading idea or set of entry and exit rules; after markup, you can read statistics for each system separately. See the playbooks guide for the full workflow.

The calendar shows trading days and lets you leave a note on a specific day. That is useful for context: news, rule breaks, fatigue, position transfers or a post-session conclusion.

Behavior analytics shows the cost of habits: where expectancy deteriorates, how edge changes in a rolling window, and what happens after losing streaks. Monte Carlo does not forecast the market; it helps check whether the current path still looks normal for this account's own history.

The service is free to use now. Start by connecting an account: open /connect or the broker-specific connection articles.

Important: the service reads the account, does nothing on it and does not provide trading signals.

How we compute it

Trades come from the connected account, day notes are stored as a separate calendar layer, and playbook statistics are calculated from closed trades and their manual markup.
