Oversight for a managed account

For a situation where money is managed by someone else, or you manage capital under agreed risk rules.

This use case fits agreements about allowed drawdown, daily loss, permitted instruments or profit split. Without separate monitoring, someone has to keep checking the account manually: open the account, compare equity, watch deposits and withdrawals, and wait for the manager's report.

The account owner enables watchers and sends the investor a read-only link like pnl.plus/watch/<token>. The investor sees the account state and money amounts; the trading journal, playbooks and notes stay hidden.

On the watched account, the investor can set triggers: drawdown above N%, daily loss above N%, equity below an amount, deposits or withdrawals detected, trading outside an allowed instrument list, or stale account data.

Alerts are sent by email and Telegram when the channel is connected. Up to 20 triggers can be saved for a watched account; the owner can disable watching, remove a watcher or revoke the link by regenerating the token at any time.

Important: the service ALERTS and SHOWS, but it does not manage the account and does not execute profit split - calculations and decisions remain between the parties.

CTA: enable watchers on the account and send the investor the link.

How we compute it

Triggers are evaluated when the relevant data arrives. On an EXANTE investment account, NAV-based conditions usually fire within a minute; trade-, instrument- and cash-flow conditions update after a full synchronization, usually every 1–2 hours for a watched account. Interactive Brokers updates once daily at end of day.
