Connecting EXANTE
EXANTE connects through an API key/Application ID and Secret/shared key, then the wizard asks you to choose an account and report currency.
Where to get the keys. In the EXANTE client area, open Settings → API and create an API key pair: API key/Application ID and Secret key/shared key. PnL Plus uses EXANTE data endpoints in read-only mode; trading APIs are not used.
Step 1. In the wizard, choose EXANTE, paste the API key and Secret key, then click “Next”. At this step the service validates the keys and requests the list of available accounts. If the keys are revoked, mistyped or lack data access, the wizard shows an error and does not continue.
Step 2. Choose the needed account from the list and pick the report currency: EUR, USD or GBP. The report currency is fixed for this history. Changing it later requires a full re-import because NAV, cash, positions and returns have to be recalculated on the new basis.
After you click “Connect account”, PnL Plus saves the connection, loads transactions and current NAV/positions through the EXANTE data API, then builds analytics. If the first load takes longer than usual, it continues in the background.
After connection, NAV updates once per minute. Trades and cash operations load periodically; for an account with active watcher monitoring, a full synchronization usually runs every 1–2 hours.
